The Little School

Welcome to The Little School of Faith Lutheran Brethren Church

We are a Christian preschool offering an enriching and developmentally appropriate Early Childhood program for children ages 2 years through 5 years. The Little School is in session from September to June. Our school is housed in a beautiful church building. We have the use of the lower level which includes inviting and visually stimulating classrooms, a large playroom we call the "Big Room" and an outdoor age-appropriate playground. It is well equipped for our two to five-year-olds.

Our teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified, experienced and skilled in interactions with young children. They possess the qualities that are essential when relating to two, three, four and five-year-olds; patience, a sense of humor, compassion, sensitivity and love for your children.

We teach the whole child and provide activities and experiences to help develop the mind, body and spirit. Activities at The Little School encourage group participation and individual creativity. Our goal is to help each child develop greater independence, social competence, and self-esteem by respecting their individual personalities and learning styles. 

To accomplish our goals and encourage a love of learning, teachers plan a widely varied program, which includes a circle/ academic learning time, handcrafts, music, bible lessons, stories, language arts, exploration at different "learning centers", painting, drawing, indoor and outdoor play.  

The Little School begins at 9:00am. Dismissal is at 12 noon except for our 2-year-old class which dismisses at 11:50am.

Enrollment Policy:

For families enrolling at The Little School for the first time, a meeting with the child and parent is required prior to enrollment. Children are placed in an appropriate group based on age, ability and previous school experience.

Our tuition is a yearly tuition rate which we divide into 10 equal payments. At time of registration, we require a $100 registration fee and a tuition deposit equal to one of the 10 (monthly) payments. The registration fee and the tuition deposit are non-refundable. The remaining 9 payments will be due monthly beginning September 1, 2025, to May 1, 2026.
