Established in 1966, Faith Lutheran Brethren Church (FLBC) was founded and built largely through volunteer labor by the congregation’s original twelve families. It was originally located in Scarsdale and held its first service on October 8, 1967.
A nursery-school program, the Little School began in 1972.
We are passionate about knowing Christ and sharing His message with the world.
FLBC is a church where you can:
The Board of Elders is responsible for the spiritual direction and well-being of the congregation.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the management of the church’s physical and financial assets. The Chair of the Trustee Board is Clarence Phipps. He can be reached at trustees@faithlbc.com
Faith Lutheran Brethren Church is a local expression of the Body of Christ committed to fulfilling Christ's Great Commission to make disciples. As a Lutheran Brethren congregation, our call is to present Jesus Christ to the Westchester County community and to provide an environment in which the Holy Spirit works his regenerating and renewing power in the believer. Our mission is to see each believer grow into their full stature in Christ and to equip each believer for the work of service to which the Holy Spirit has called and empowered them.
Our mission includes joining with other congregations of the Lutheran Brethren Church exercising gifts of grace locally and in world missions.
We are a Lutheran Brethren Church, which means we hold to the core teachings of Christianity as expressed in the Bible.
